Starting with the finest (and to some cigar connoisseurs, the only) wrapper, the Connecticut Shade, Macanudo Café cigars are created in the General Cigar Dominicana cigar factory in the Dominican Republic. The filler is a Dominican (Piloto Cubano) and Mexican tobacco blend while the binder is a Mexico San Andrean tobacco grown in the St. Andres Tuxtla Valley.
